Can you believe it?? It's really happening!
We are the new owners of the 'ol Nordstrom building in Tekamah!
It's not anything we ever anticipated doing... In fact, I'm still in awe that... We own a building!
It all happened one day as I was driving home to Decatur just like I had hundreds of times before. I happened to glance over at the Nordstrom building. It was still for sale after over 2 years and nothing had changed. It was that day however, that a thought began growing in my mind! "Hmmm... We are REALLY growing out of our basement of only 800 sq. feet. Could this building work? It's WAY bigger than we were thinking we needed! Could I even talk mom into it? She wants to build a building that's connected to our house! This is 20 minutes from home! Could it work?"
After getting home, mom and I hashed out details and logistics. And it all seemed like a good step for us and Master's Hand Candle Co!
A little over a month later, here we are and we're THRILLED to see what God has planned for this place!
Anxious to sign the papers!
I'm not sure if she's just reading over the papers or she's gasping that they need her signature AGAIN! :o)
